Renee hired me and during the interview she divulged very personal information about herself. The only question I was asked was "so you cleaned airbnbs?" Renee was aware I was pregnant and ensured a "lighter load" unprompted. The "lighter load" was being put in a non ventilated basement bathroom using chemicals such as soft scrub and clorox. The woman I was supposed to be shadowing was vacuuming and I asked her to clean the toilet because the fan wasn't working and the fumes were strong. There was no window. I told Renee I was going to step outside to get some air. She asked if I needed to go home (which I thought was nice of her to ask) to which I replied "no, I just need some air" she then terminated my employment, said bleach wasn't toxic, we can't open windows, and that it wouldn't work out. She offered zero accommodations and punished me for needing fresh air. The lady I was shadowing was doing the worst cleaning job I had ever seen. There is a reason she hires multiple people per house. Not for efficiency but because she hires unprofessional shoddy cleaners. She made it a point to let me know that I WASN'T fired because I needed "a break" (fresh air) less than an hour into my shift but because "it wouldn't work out". On the spot cleaning uses natural products and does a very great job. I wouldn't recommend pro homemaking services as Renee manipulates clients into using her bad service by building report with he homeowners and providing unfinished work.
