Joseph Gannon, Ph.D.

I am a licensed psychologist and have been a practicing clinician for more than twenty years. I primarily treat adult individuals and couples using Cognitive Behavioral therapy, an evidence based form of therapeutic intervention that is most effective with depression and anxiety. Other skills that I will teach you to use will be beneficial in helping you communicate your thoughts and feelings more effectively to others, as less effective forms of communication are often a contributing factor to problems in relationships. Learning how to manage conflict rather than avoiding difficult or uncomfortable issues, being able to articulate your wants or needs while also being better able to see or understand others point of view or perception help to facilitate sharing and encouraging dialogue. I am available for evening appointments.
