OUR MISSION:
To assist San Diego residents and businesses capitalize on naturally available solar energy through the implementation of self-sufficient renewable power sources to:
• Save our customers’ hard earned money
• Protect the planet and therefore, our quality of life as humans


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of procedures and activities of assigned area
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to organize and prioritize workflow to meet established timeframes
• Attention to detail
• 16-24 hours per week commitment for a minimum of 3 months
• Open mind and good attitude
• Understanding of digital marketing and/or willingness to learn
• Experience with social media
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience Photoshop and WordPress a plus
• Earning BA or Masters in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
• Experience and/or interest in Green Living and renewable energies.

DUTIES:

• Contribute insight and energy in on multi-channel marketing initiatives
• Work with Marketing Manager and sales to develop and follow up on lead sources
• Assist with research projects, event planning, contact management and online marketing
• Write business correspondences and other written materials as necessary
• Monitor and assist in content creation for blogs, website and social media presence including: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Slideshare, etc.
• Assist with email communication to new and past customer, and creation of digital newsletter
• Compile data, update lists, maintain databases and create reports
• Support for PR campaigns and community event marketing and partnerships
• Review marketing deliverables; proof reading for typos, consistency, etc.
• Assist with coordination of team meetings and internal calendars
• Communicate with third party agencies and suppliers
• Have fun while learning and contributing to helping the world GO SOLAR
• Duties will vary from day to day, must have positive, flexible attitude, ability to lift 50lbs.
